Tara Laskowski recommends
You Can't Hurt Me (2024)
Emma Cook
"xploring the ways our closest relationships can destroy us and the dark downside of ambition, Emma Cook's tightly woven thriller You Can't Hurt Me proves that the worst pain isn't caused by physical wounds, but by the emotional harm we inflict on one another."
Under Her Care (2022)
Lucinda Berry
"Creepy and chilling, Under Her Care is a tense page-turner that leaves you questioning everything you ever knew about motherhood and the family bond."
The Red Canoe (2022)
(Buck Fineday, book 1)
Wayne Johnson
"Simultaneously heartbreaking and heart-pounding, THE RED CANOE is a gritty and yet tender novel about an unrelenting pursuit for justice, redemption, and revenge. With nods to classic noir, westerns, action movies, and wilderness survival stories, this novel has a cast of misfit unlikely heroes you'll root for 'til the bloody end."
