Victoria Lee grew up in Durham, North Carolina, where she spent twelve ascetic years as a vegetarian before discovering spicy chicken wings are, in fact, a delicacy. She’s been a state finalist competitive pianist, a hitchhiker, a pizza connoisseur, an EMT, an expat in China and Sweden, and a science doctoral student. She’s also a bit of a snob about fancy whisky.
Victoria writes early in the morning, then spends the rest of the day trying to impress her border collie puppy and make her experiments work.
She lives in Pennsylvania.

Victoria Lee recommends
Lady Macbeth (2024)
Ava Reid
"Reid's prose, as shimmeringly poetic as always, carries a story that will curl around your heart and linger in your bones."
These Deadly Prophecies (2024)
Andrea Tang
"As always, Andrea Tang's characters sing off the page, witty, laser-sharp, and keenly ambitious. These Deadly Prophecies scoops you in and keeps you riveted, turning pages like you can somehow solve the mystery faster just by wanting so badly to know whodunit."
The Forest Demands Its Due (2023)
Kosoko Jackson
"Jackson's compellingly complex dark academia captures the magic that is taking life into one's own hands, of who gets seen as a monster and who is afforded humanity - a riveting exploration of academic privilege that flips the 'chosen one' script on its head. Don't you dare miss it."
