The Taming of the Snickerdoodle

Was a fall from a lighthouse actually premeditated murder? After an arduous rehearsal process, it’s approaching opening night at chef Christine Connelly’s dessert theater near the shore. Even though the new celebrity addition to the cast is causing some trouble, Christine is optimistic that the reviews for the show will be as sweet as her cookies. However, when a young woman is found dead at the base of a lighthouse reminiscent of a local ghost story, the actors find it difficult to focus on their cues. Christine doubts that the death is as straightforward as it seems, but since the police aren’t convinced it’s murder, she has to start her own investigation.
