Barbara Monajem

Barbara Monajem wrote her first story at eight years old about apple tree gnomes. After dabbling in neighborhood musicals and teen melodrama, she published a children's fantasy when her kids were young. Now they're grown up, and she writes adult romance and mystery. Her Bayou Gavotte series takes place near New Orleans and features hereditary vampires, vigilante Native American rock star Constantine Dufray, and other characters with paranormal abilities -- because it's so much fun to explore the unusual! She also writes sexy Regency historical romance novellas with bold, passionate heroes, spirited adventurous heroines, and the occasional touch of magic. She lives near Atlanta, Georgia with an ever-shifting population of relatives, friends, and feline strays.
