He saved her. But now, she is his prisoner.

Living in a small coastal town along Scotland’s northern shore has never been easy for Catrona McDougal. However, after her father’s sudden death, the lass has to fight daily for her and her siblings’ survival. Thus, refusing to give in to fear and despair, Catrona operates her father’s fishing boat to keep her family fed.

However, the waters that provide Catrona’s family with food are also infested with vicious Pirates, and one day that seemed like any other, Catrona would never return home. That very day, one of the most infamous pirates, Captain Cameron Wallace,
happed to attack an enemy ship but found something very unusual on it.

The most beautiful lass he has ever seen is laying unconscious at the back of the ship, and after his enemies are swiftly killed, the Captain decides to take her with him as part of the spoils. When Catrona wakes up on the pirate ship,
Cameron can not convince her that he saved her from her kidnappers.

The lass is determined to escape and return to her siblings but being in the middle of the sea means one thing; she will get out of there only if Cameron allows it. While trying to ingratiate herself with the Captain, Catrona finds out that he is on a mission to locate his father’s killer, so a question arises.
Will assisting a pirate on his quest for vengeance help her get home, or should she manipulate him and escape the ship at the first chance?
