Baby Boy lives in a tree house with his father. His mother has died and then his father passed away, leaving Baby Boy on his own. He has to learn everything about life and taking care of himself, after all he's a grown man, and the house belongs to him now. He must learn to cook, get himself to town, and cash his Daddy's checks. If only he'd stop worrying about the creature down in the river--and his pesky Uncle who only wants to scare him into doing what he shouldn't.
