Stranded with the Marquess

After a week of misadventures in Calais, France, Miss Amelia Browning wants nothing more than to return to England, even if it means she must accept a proposal in marriage to a man she does not love. However, her return is postponed when the ship is delayed. Frantic to return home, she books passage on the next ship to leave the port. When Lord Matthew Albright, Marquess of Brandybrook meets Miss Browning on his ship, he finds her to be intriguing and beautiful.
