A lakeside training camp, an unexpected visitor from the past, and a Mosasaur with a twist in its tail.

Several years have passed since Gerry returned from Yeti Ridge and the Mosasaurs were finally introduced to the world. However, life hasn't turned out exactly as Gerry had hoped over those intervening years, but he's doing his best to look on the bright side and give back when he can.

While up at the new training camp for student scientists on the shores of Lake Ness, where Mosasaurs have been reintroduced to a controlled and confined area, Gerry comes face to face with his past and gets another chance to possibly make everything right.

It's just a shame that not everyone wants him to succeed.
