The sequel is a suspenseful novel set in Brooklyn, New York as World War I draws to an end. It is the continuing story of Roger Mifflin, and discusses an adventure of Titania Chapman and advertising man Aubrey Gilbert. The name of "The Haunted Bookshop" refers to the ghosts that haunt libraries and bookstores.
Where The Blue Begins (1922)
This is really a story about a search for truth and God, told through the eyes of Mr. Gissing, an ordinary man living an ordinary life. It is at times philosophical and spiritual, and above all humorous.

American author Christopher Morley (1890 - 1957) began writing in college and became a a journalist, novelist and poet who produced stage productions. He was born in Pennsylvania to a father who worked as a mathematics professor. His mother was a violinist. His first book was "Parnassus on Wheels" followed by "The Haunted Bookshop" in 1919.
