The tiny town of Upper Sprocket Oregon is gearing up for its Centennial Celebration and Trinidad Jones is ready to serve up the sweets at her Shimmy and Shake Shop. When the discovery of a vintage hat from a notorious hijacking comes to light, Sprocket becomes ground zero for gaggles of “true crimers” who are obsessed with unmasking the identity of the hijacker who leapt out of a plane, mid-flight, fifty years before. When her fiance’s brother is implicated for the murder of a visiting true crime podcaster, Trinidad will be forced to add sleuthing to her scooping, to prevent a notorious cold case from causing a massive meltdown in Sprocket.
