On Desert Sands

Albuquerque's been taken over by gangs and thugs. They've divided the once proud city into pieces of turf, and forced most of the residents to leave. Dave would like to be able to pass it by. The problem is that the only lead he has regarding the whereabouts of his daughter indicated the kidnappers were heading to Albuquerque. He has to go in. He has to find her. He has to get her out safely. And to do so he must team up with a man he'd have despised at any other time in his life. A man he'd never have associated with if he wasn't so desperately in need of help. They have to work together. They have no choice. So together they formulate a plan which will take them into the lion's den. To negotiate with brutally sadistic killers. To rescue a frightened little eight year old girl. And only one of them will walk back out again. Dave Speer was separated from his family when the earth was assaulted from the last place it would expect: its own sun. The electric grids are down. The vehicles are no longer running. The world is in chaos. And Dave, looking for his captive daughter, is Alone. This is his story.
