Texas Bound

Dave's mission is finally complete. After the better part of two years his family is finally reunited. It's time to begin the next part of their journey: the trip home. It won't be easy. But then again, it never has been. Cody and Shiloh were faithful and loyal friends who pulled Sal's rig more than eleven hundred miles. But Shiloh is injured and Cody isn't far behind him. They'd done everything Sal asked of them and now deserved to be put out to pasture. No other horses are available, and that means the journey to Texas will have to be on foot. They set out doing twelve miles a day and everything appears to be going well. Sarah finally shares her secret with Dave and they're trying very hard to work through her infidelity. Then, once again, death comes calling.
