Shelley Burkholder has remained loyal to her Mennonite faith and the community where she grew up. Jeremiah Yoder has allowed the ways of the world to lure him away. Now that he's had a chance to see that the world doesn't have all the answers, he visits his old stomping grounds. He instantly feels drawn to Shelley, but she's reluctant to let him into her life.
