This book contains four very short (approximately 1500 words each) vignettes written from the perspective of characters in Bellingwood other than Polly Giller.
In the first vignette, Judy Greene, who with her husband, Reuben have returned to Bellingwood and will one day manage the Bed and Breakfast looks forward to spring and her new greenhouse. Vignette #2 is all about Galentine's Day. Beryl Watson loves her friends and surprises them with a day out. In the third vignette, Sylvie is surprised by her sons who treat her to a special evening after a very long week. In Vignette #4, poor Aaron Merritt has been tasked with retrieving boxes and tubs of mementos his wife has saved for the last thirty years. It's time to go through them and make sure everything finds its way to the kids' homes where it belongs.
The Bellingwood books are written from Polly's perspective and every once in a while it's fun to look at what's happening behind the scenes from the viewpoint of other characters.
These vignettes were originally published on the nammynools.com website and in the monthly email newsletter to Bellingwood readers.
