Notes on Poetic Vision: As I explore my world through my poetic statements and musings, it becomes clear that I have a rich history and I will tackle it. These are things not just for inclusion in an artistic milieu, but for filing into my own story so they can be recorded as a remembrance of my own self. I can peruse my pages and see my history. It's an exploration of the soul, a purging of poison, and an expression of joy that I'm doing to deal with my past and to find my truest self. Perhaps some things are fictionalized, some are not, some exaggerated, but all have truths to them and are the best expression of all sides of my personality - the lover, the lost child, the bitter outcast, the wild man, the snake charmer, the angry fighter - and show them as what they are: quite necessary parts of me.
