Forced by a treacherous superior officer to resign from the Regular Space Service, Heris Serrano finds employment as "Captain" of an interstellar yacht, working for eccentric Lady Cecelia de Marktos. When she stumbles across a sinister hunting club however, she ends up fighting for her life.
