Apple of His Eye

When Sarah Hampton peeks out her bedroom window, she sees a new young man working in the gardens below. Even though improper, Sarah is intrigued and strikes up a conversation with the yeoman. Concerned about the impropriety of speaking to the daughter of the land owner, Big John Banning says he is the new orchardkeeper for her father's cyder apples and hurries away. But Sarah's intrigue grows even though her interest in a commoner is improper for a young Victorian lady. Struggling against propriety and her mother's determination for her to find a proper husband, Sarah finally learns to lean on the Lord to prove with God all things are possible.
