The good news is my friends now realize Im only dead in their realm. The bad news is we may all soon be dead in this one.
As a Veil Witch, by now I thought I'd seen it all. Vampires, dark witches, poltergeists, body snatchers and demons. Not to mention the realms of both the Fae and the Half-Fae. So, why has no one ever mentioned Elves? I'm not talking about those cute little munchkins hanging out in the North Pole. I mean the bloodthirsty ones who serve as soldiers to an evil and murderous king. Thankfully, it's also an Elf who takes our side when everything seems lost. Her name is Lianthra and she knows who were up against and why.
Now, the witches of the Shadow Order are faced with multiple missions. First, we need to rescue Revlen from where shes being held prisoner in the realm of Alfheim. Then we need to recapture the Triplex Dea talismans so we can bring Esras back from the dead. As if thats not enough on our shared magical plate, we need to find a way to break a blood curse cast long ago by a demented Fae princess. But for any of that to stick, we'll need to defeat an enemy possessing magical powers the likes of which we've never seen. By which I mean the same twisted soul who used her magic to erase my past and just used it again to trap us all in a city kingdom turned into an island under siege. There I was thinking that having been granted a new life in this realm would allow me the time needed to pull off this mission. Instead, it looks like we better start hoping we're all granted new lives in a third realm.
Praise for Ghost Hexed: Queen Fae Witch Book 1:
This is a magical tale that will keep you turning pages!
It's full throttle action and feels written so well! Ready for book 2 please!
So happy Cassie and the gang are back, but the *best* part is this new storyline is a Great read!
Cassie is such a huge personality that between her and the action, it's impossible to put the book down.
The love scenes perfectly written with just enough left for the imagination.
An excellent mystery brings the gang back together!
Once I started reading this book, I could NOT stop reading. Its the perfect blend of action and snark.
Genre: Horror
