The Kit Aston Novellas and Other Stories

(2021)
A collection of stories by

Together for the first time, the two Kit Aston Novellas as well two previously published short stories taken from the global best-selling Kit Aston mysteries.

This is an ideal introduction into the world of Lord Kit Aston, nobleman, spy and amateur detective. The Kit Aston Mysteries are fast-paced crime stories which fuse real life historical events and characters with 'Golden-Age' crime. No two books are the same except, of course, for the twists, the thrills and the laughs...

The first novella is the previously published 'The French Diplomat Affair'.
It's Paris 1919, and the Peace Conference following the end of the Great War is proving anything but peaceful. A French Diplomat has been murdered. When the chief suspect turns out to be the girlfriend of Aldric 'Spunky' Stephens, Kit Aston is called in to investigate. The investigation becomes a race against time as Europe faces a deadly new enemy, intent on dragging it back into the carnage from which it has just escaped.
The second piece is the previously published, 'Haymaker's Last Fight'.
This is a festive novelette set in Christmas 1909 – Kit Aston and his friends are attending a fight at the National Sporting Club in London featuring the great Canadian fighter, Sam Langford. On the undercard is a middleweight fighter called Haymaker Harris (who features in The Phantom and The Medium Murders).

There are two other short stories: 'The Missing Diamonds' first seen in The Phantom (Kit Aston Book 3) and 'The Nineteenth Hole' first seen in The Frisco Falcon (Kit Aston Book 4).

Clean read: no graphic violence, sex, or strong language.

“The characters were engaging, and the plots well thought out and convoluted enough to keep you guessing until the last.”

“…well written with very appealing characters, good plots and just a nice touch of romance. Very little overt violence and no sex.”
