Rose's first encounter with Nathan Hayward was fairly traumatic to say the least. She knew that she should have reported him to the police for the way he treated her; and had him slung in gaol. Instead, she found herself going back to Lyncombe Manor; the beautiful house where he lived, to get an apology from him. That was a definite mistake, though. She ended up getting more and more involved in his life - and with Nathan Hayward himself. And that was not a sensible thing to do
