Rupert is a smart but snobby management consultant who, having failed to make the grade at a leading firm, moved to the little leagues in pursuit of that elusive promotion. His new girlfriend, Primrose Hill, is sexy, pretty and clever. She went to a smart boarding school and top university, then qualified as a solicitor, and appears to be the very image of upper class respectability. A proposal is on the cards, but when Rupert finally meets her rough and ready father, Ronnie, he recoils at his manners and working class accent. Not that this stops him establishing that Ronnie owns a chain of restaurants and convincing him to use his services as a business adviser. However, in taking on Ronnie as a client, Rupert has no inkling that his restaurants are just a front for the Hills family's real status as one of London's most feared crime gangs. And when he discovers the hideous truth, he is in too deep. Desperately he suggests a joint venture - combining his state-of-the art business knowledge with their muscle. It starts brilliantly well, but will their luck last and can this improbable alliance hold? Is there really honour among thieves?
