The betrayal and embarrassment of a broken engagement is something Teddi Yorke can't bare to repeat. Not surprisingly, she is apprehensive when Captain Phillip Hamilton--whom she once cared about deeply--comes marching back into her life. Amid the Christmas celebrations at Fort Riley, Kansas, lies and deceit circulate, threatening to devastate the careers, reputations, and the future plans of residents on the military reservation.
