(2024)
A novel by

As a little girl, Kourtnee would play in her grandparent’s barn, help milk cows and drink warm rich cream. While her grandfather taught her good work ethics, her grandmother showed her when to pick from a garden, and how to clean and properly store her bounty. From harvesting to canning to cooking every meal from scratch, grandma taught her the importance of home economics. Kourtnee will never forget the smell of fresh baked bread coming out of grandma’s oven. Or, watching her grandfather’s eyes light up when grandma spread his favorite—fresh strawberry preserves on his toast. Growing up Kourtnee was surrounded by love, and strong family values.
Meeting the love of her life at a small country flower shop was truly a blessing. The two of them have never left each other’s sides. From running their own antique shop to working at The Inn in Rhode Island, Kevin and Kourtnee are the perfect couple.
Being married to Kevin means the world to her and being Delilah’s mother gives Kourtnee more joy than she could have ever imagined. As much as Kourtnee loves her office manager job at The Inn in Rhode Island, she feels like something is still missing—her dream of owning her own sustainable farm stand.
Can she have it all? Can any woman for that matter? Or, will Kourtnee have to give up on her heart’s burning desire?
