Shadow of the Hawk

Sarah McCormick has one last shot at adventure. Resigned to the life of a spinster, the prim schoolteacher plans to lead five teenage girls to the shadowy isle of Tenebrosa. There, in a tropical paradise, they will study an ancient people and perhaps learn something about themselves. But a mountain of a man upsets her plans-a handsome Indian named Hawk who claims she and her students will be in peril. And when the virile ex-marine swears to protect them, Sarah wonders which is in jeopardy-her body or her heart. Hawk has seen the shy schoolmarm cut a man to ribbons with her sharp tongue, and he is haunted by visions of schooling her lush, suprisingly soft lips in passion. Now, threatened by an evil as old as Tenebrosa itself, Hawk knows that her kiss can stave off the shadows and their love can light the way to paradise.
