Following his untimely death, dead detective Kevin Fahey roams the streets of his town, uncovering secrets the living do not know and seeking redemption in other people's lives. When a beautiful and very pregnant pre-school teacher disappears, the case quickly becomes mired in political complications, leading to the arrest of a grieving and innocent man.
