Hazel had felt drawn to the Cotswolds where she was born, her whole life. Her mother had moved her out of the small town when she was a small child following the death of her father. But now middle-aged and without a job she answers an ad for a PA at a hotel in her birthplace of Witchwold Hampton. But when she arrives, she discovers the hotel owner is a witch and even worse, she’s her paternal grandmother.
Not wanting to join a coven of witches, Hazel decides to flee Witchwold Hampton, however on her way out she stumbles over a dead body and is unable to leave the village, until the murderer is found.
