Mary and The Fighter

Mary O'Brien, an indentured servant in America, sees no hope for the future. She's to serve seven years and will be considered an old maid when her time is up. Such was Mary's lot. That is until she spied Patrick Mulligan. Could a man like him ever be interested in a woman like her? The bigger question was, would he be willing to wait until her 7 years are up or by some miracle, her master frees her?

Patrick Mulligan had a dream. So, he worked hard, saved his money, and did what he had to to make more. Including fighting. Something he was quite good at. Soon he'd have enough money to have his own business and be his own boss. There were, however, a few problems. Well, one actually. He fell in love. And, as luck would have it, with a woman he could never have. Unless he fought the toughest fight of his life. And of course, risk losing that life in the process ...
