ROAR is a screenplay based on the novel, SOUND OF BLOOD, by Lawrence De Maria. Since "a picture is worth a thousand words", the screenplay, at about 20,000 words, is much shorter than the novel. Readers of SOUND OF BLOOD will no doubt remember many of the characters and characteristics of the original work. The author hopes they will enjoy both. Screenwriting is an art, and in the case of ROAR, a work in progress.
