Jane knows that Charlie Pratt is just the same as he's always been.
Thoughtless and self centered, he drinks too much, spends too much money, and thinks that Jane should play Cinderella to his Prince Charming, just because she's the housekeeper and he's the rich businessman.
Jane has other plans. She's on her way to college to build a career and a future for herself. But college life turns out to be a lonely and disappointing slog. Charlie, on the other hand, is not quite what she thought he was either. He sees that Jane is different from the other girls he knows, and he's starting to realize that the difference is the God that Jane believes in.
Jane isn't sure how much faith she should put in Charlie's change of heart, and the challenges of carving out an independent life are greater than she expected. She's determined to do what's right, but will she know what the right decision is while she still has a chance to take it?
