Elizabeth Englin was not the Betsy he remembered. When Grady Logan arrivedin Chicago he didn't expect to find a woman managing the prestigious EnglinHotel--certainly not the one woman he remembered with nothing butbitterness. As for Elizabeth, the last thing she wanted was to see Gradyagain. He stirred up too many memories and brought back too much pain.
