Maggie MacKeever is the author of forty-plus historical romances, most of them set during England's Regency era. Her extracurricular careers include secretary for a telephone company, a local psychic, the Arco Alaskan pipeline project, and a post production sound house; and, most lengthily, dialogue supervisor for television and feature films. Maggie lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two spoiled housecats, and derives great pleasure from the fact that they share their back yard with a family of feral cats, a pug-nosed possum, and several raccoons. She also writes Regency mysteries under the pseudonym Gail Clark.
