Its been ten years since Byron and Ellie married as teenagers. They were madly in love but when things went wrong, they didnt have the maturity to cope. One day, Ellie left, for Reasons. Then further things happened and she decided that it was for the best.
Now she is a widow running a business in Birmingham and Byron turns up. He is now a renowned architect but he has never forgotten Ellie.
Its obvious that both Byron and Ellie still have feelings for each other but Ellie is determined that she has nothing to offer Byron.
We know the issue fairly early in the piece and occasionally I did wish she would just tell Byron and get it over with. But it was a little more complicated.
It got quite emotional at one point and the ending was satisfying.
As you know, I prefer them to be faithful while apart but both did have other relationships in the ten year.
Genre: Romance
