Murder on Red Mesa Road

The announcement that Happy Home with Bobbi & Brandon plans to film its next season in Crescent Creek is big news for the small Colorado town. It's the first time a television production has come to the area, and legions of local Happy Home fans are over the moon to get a glimpse of the wholesome couple at the heart of the long-running show.

But the excitement and anticipation turn to morbid curiosity and rampant rumors when the property selected for the show's new episodes becomes the scene of a double homicide involving members of the Happy Home crew.

Since one of the victims visited her family's bakery cafe the morning of the murders, former private investigator Kate Reed joins the search for the killer. Along the way, she encounters a mixed bag of clues, including a beaded epaulet ripped from a fringed leather jacket, a faux alligator handbag, a vintage Harley-Davidson motorcycle, ten thousand dollars in cash, a Sig Sauer pistol and an Ozzy Osbourne lookalike.
