Think being the future alpha is good news? Spoiler alert: It’s not.
I finally found a place where I thought I thought I could belong. A place where my wolf and I could run free and I could have the liberty to stop hiding who I was.
Technically, I did. At Reaper’s Claw Wolf Pack, my beastly side is welcome. But like everything else in life, there’s a catch. Growing up with parents who didn’t accept me even without knowing about the wolf thing, I should have learned to keep my expectations low.
I’m the future alpha of this pack, and I have to train for the position. From what I’ve seen, alpha is the last thing on this earth I want to become. For a whole host of reasons. The current alpha and his mate are my bio parents, but I still haven’t worked out exactly how I was switched at birth, or even if they know what happened.
In the meantime, my wolf’s hormones are running rampant. She’s showing way too much interest in three men, three sexy, handsome intriguing men. I hope she doesn’t expect me to choose because there’s no way I ever could. Each one of them fulfills a fantasy I never knew I wanted.
All I wanted was to come here and be myself. Maybe I can be the alpha under my own terms, in my own way. But while a female alpha sounds forward-thinking to me, in so many ways this pack is old-fashioned and bound by tradition.
If I’m going to be alpha, some of that will have to change.
Good thing I’m a pro at breaking all the rules.
Forsaken Life is the second in the brand-new Reaper’s Claw Wolf Pack series featuring a heroine learning about her true heritage as a wolf shifter and her place in a world she never knew existed, three steaming-hot wolf shifters who seek to be her mates, and enough twists and turns to make any wolf howl. It is a why choose, slow-burn romance and, of course, Mazzy guarantees a happily ever after.
Genre: Paranormal Romance
