“If I’m coming home, I’m coming home for you.”
Shelly lived the life she was supposed to, didn’t she? Popular cheerleader in high-school, and of course ending up prom queen. Married the goddamned prom king, settled down in the house her family had owned for generations, had two kids, and started a successful business with her husband. Except, high-school was a really long time ago and things aren’t so great anymore. If they ever were.
Gabriel, Raz, Razinsky wasn’t ever going back to Bakersville. He left the day after graduation and never looked back. Through his service in the armed forces, and later as a co-owner of a low key but wildly successful business providing personal protection and “other” services, he ignores the fact that he’s still not looking back because it hurts too much. Not because of his asshole of a father. Because of the one he lost, or perhaps never fought hard enough for.
Waterfront Inn is a story about forgiving and starting over but from where you are now. It’s not about second chances, but about taking the chances you get, and living life here and now because later might not be an option.
Please note: This book contains crude words and somewhat explicit adult scenes. If this isn't your thing, then this book might not be for you.
