I finally found something to call my own. Something that I didn't have to share with anyone. A secret. And oh, how I love my secret. My secret is my best friend, bringing joy and unimaginable pleasure to my life. And now, I'm keeping my secret's secret.
Except, like I learned in the military, absolutely nothing stays secret for long.
And, life has taught me that if you hold something too tight, it'll crumble to dust between your fingers.
Now, I'm left sweeping up the dust of the life we were building in the hopes that I can piece it back together again.
If only my secret would wake up.
