Being a wizard is all fun and games until a power-mad elf murders your mother. Things go downhill pretty quickly after that. At least they did for me, Corvin Chance - musician, wizard, and now... avenger.
I won't have to search too hard to find the person who murdered my mother, for I already know who killed her - Iolas Tasar, the elf who run's Dublin's criminal underworld. All I have to do is prove it was him... and then kill him.
To do so, I have to get close, which means going to work for the b*****d who killed my mother. It's the only way to get the evidence I need, and fortunately, I have found an ally in Iolas' niece, Amelia, a badass enforcer even scarier than her uncle... though a lot easier on the eye.
I also have my two best friends: Dalia, a sardonic Demi-Fae who could scare the bejeezus out of Lucifer himself; and Monty, a wise-cracking street magician and YouTube star with a gift for cybermancy. Together we will enter a dangerous Dublin underbelly populated by dark elves, vampires, goblins, and orcs in order to get justice... and revenge.
Oh, and did I mention the Fae Queen blackmailing Dalia and I into helping her... on pain of death?
Pass the whiskey... I'm gonna need it.
