Sheila Malone was a good cop under a lot of pressure, and the last thing she needed was some rich smart-mouthed man getting in her way. Especially when the man in question was drop-dead gorgeous--and the key to a five-year-old murder. Yes, Max Bollinger was someone she could definitely do without. Max figured he'd like Sheila Malone a whole lot better if she weren't trying quite so hard to put him behind bars. Still, she was nothing if not exciting, this nice Irish girl who seemed to think he was some kind of master criminal. And if he coudlnt' keep her off his case, well, it was only fair.
