Christi is a romance writer struggling over a love scene in her latest novel. Since her painful divorce she's been unable to summon the passion from within to give her stories their needed sensual spark. Afraid to trust the emotions that led her astray, she finds a bit of solace at the little beach cottage on Long Island's south shore that was left to her in the divorce settlement, and is understandably wary when her ex-husband's brother shows up out of the blue to claim the cottage.
