Legal P.A.

(2024)
A novel by

Lyn has returned to Dublin from living abroad, leaving behind a disastrous relationship, and a close call with what she refers to as wine-ism (being alcoholism that’s limited to just wine … it’s the cheapest you see). Lyn’s life now consists of Legal ‘PA-ing’ her way through the work week i.e., trying to do as little as possible while looking like the Elon Musk of law, stalking the office candy, Ryan (i.e., the love of her life), and trying to drop the ‘travel weight’.

Ah, Ryan. Where to begin! He’s 6’ 2’, plays rugby, and therefore has the strength - Lyn hopes! - to hold her weight and not break his back (if you get what I mean). There’s also Ross. Now Ross is no Ryan, but would still be classed as a ride ... by others, not Lyn though … she doesn’t think. It’s all very confusing. If Lyn doesn’t get Ryan, or possibly the ‘lesser-ride’ Ross, before the year is out, the only option for love will be to consider ‘changing sides’ as a non-playing, viewing only substitute … see what the story is first type-of-thing ... before investing in the kit.

However, if left to the girls, Alana, Niamh, and Fiona, Lyn’s sisters-in-arms in ‘Hell’ i.e., the law firm they all work for, she’ll be hooked up with one of them before you can sing Auld Lang Syne.
