Cam's plan to usurp death and fight back against those plotting against him worked. Almost a little too well. Now he must learn his new cultivation aspects to grow stronger for what is to come. He must learn the ways of the spirit beasts and fit two hundred years of training into his life as quickly as possible, for war is on the horizon.
The Empire of the Creator is on the move. Storming the Rezzen Empire and converting humans and the other races into soldiers for their machinations. The goddess herself has descended upon the world to lead her forces and Cam is a prime target.
Having taken the form of the World Phoenix; with his partner and mate, Naomi, he must secure his town and the people that rely on him. Brazzen's army will go a long way to helping if they can get past their differences. Not only that, but as people learn Cam offers safety, will he be able to save everyone, even if it means letting in someone that means him harm?
