SHORTY
Bravery isn’t built. It’s forged.
On a planet plagued by perpetual war, where a mech is a prerequisite for survival, there is one simple rule: Be bigger than the other guy or get your ass kicked.
At just seventeen measly tons, Shorty doesn’t measure up. His enemies can level cities and punch holes through mountains. They can reshape the world on a whim. They wouldn’t be caught dead in an overgrown trashcan like Shorty.
But Shorty isn’t interested in the rule of size.
He knows heart isn’t measured in pounds of steel. Bravery isn’t found in the finest machined parts. Glory isn’t just for giants.
Shorty has a new rule, and he’s about to teach it to everyone.
Ass-kicking doesn’t have a size requirement.
KILL ME KNOW
Long odds are all Shorty knows.
But when the diminutive mech with a big mouth finds himself stuck between an invasion force and a Delta City, even he doesn’t like his chances.
With damaged gear, an inexperienced squad of do-gooders, and all the bad luck the universe can dish out, Shorty finds himself fighting the most important battle of his career. Live-streamed. Without ammunition. Or backup. Or even air.
It’s just another desperate day of survival for Shorty. Underpaid, underappreciated, and underwater.
What could go wrong?
GROUND POUNDER
The United Coalition of Worlds (UCOW) needs a few good men and women… but all they can find for this suicide mission is Shorty.
When missionaries send out a distress call, UCOW sends Shorty to investigate. He’s about to learn the only thing worse than fighting mechs twice his size is fighting alien mechs who want him dead.
SHORTY AND THE BRITS
When you're as famous as Shorty, (he defeated a Goliath class mech, didn’t he?) people tell lies about you. And when you beat them at cards, they think you were cheating.
Then they want to kill you. On Doomsday, the most dangerous planet in the galaxy. Because they can't stand losing.
Shorty and a pair of Royal Mechanized Marines have to put aside their differences (who owes who money) when they find themselves in the middle of somebody else’s fight, and this time, they’ll wish it had been ‘just a Goliath.’
Genre: Science Fiction
