While the Empire Falls Apart

Minis Aan is the Heir to the Empire of Arko, the Spark of the Sun’s Ray, the pampered darling who is never told no. He has learned, from a real friend, a slave gladiator, that if he is going to grow up to be a good Imperator he is going to have to teach himself empathy, compassion and self-control.

His father, He Whose Will is the World’s, wants a son to be like Him and forces perversions on His son to make him ‘more like Himself’, unfortunately for Minis.

The Empire is at war; multiple wars and the Imperator doesn’t understand that He cannot magically conjure soldiers out of thin air no matter how often He is told He is Divine. Minis sees that his father is destroying everything while covering the corpse of Empire with jewels and gold, food and blood and lust.

The rot in the court is obvious to anyone with a good mind and Minis can see clearly the gilded putrefaction that is his life and his legacy.

The Empire is falling apart and Minis, with all his power, is helpless in the face of the destruction coming.
