He Shoots, He Scores
(2021)(The first book in the Six Degree Connections series)
A Story by Victoria Michaels
Six degrees of separation is the idea that all people on average, are six or fewer social connections away from each other. A friend of a friend, an uncle or an aunt, my cousin Vinnie, or a coworker may connect any two people in the world in a maximum of six steps.
The ending of each Six Degree Connections Series story leads from a person affected by the current story into the next story. We are all connected. Find out how.

Elizabeth Fraser is pissed. She is a crime reporter, not a fucking jock schtick, and especially not hockey. Ugh! But the station’s main sports reporter has been in a car accident and station programmer, Max Cramer, has asked…no ordered Liz to fill in. After all, this is an important game, and she is a good reporter…possibly a great reporter. And…if she can prove it by getting a great story, there could be a sweet promotion in it for Liz. Little does Liz know that’s not all that’s in store for her!
Meet Paul Biter, goalie who came out of nowhere a few years ago, now in a major slump in his game. Who can tell why? And where did he come from? Maybe Liz can convince him to tell her. But Paul wants something in exchange for his story…his great story.
A reporter always gets her story, no matter what it takes. And what will it take?
The Six Degree Connections series books can be read stand alone and in any order.
