Jennifer (Jinny) Angel is a twenty-two-year-old recent pre-law graduate. She has hopes and dreams of attending law school and is even gifted a bursary by her college, but she knows it's not in the cards for her. After her father, Dane, was sent to prison for a crime Jinny is positive he did not commit, their mother overdoses and Jinny is left to raise her younger brother, Ricky all on her own.
Jinny has worked hard to get into pre-law college, and has put off a lot of things, including dating and having any sort of fun. All she does is work, study, and worry about Ricky. But she meets this lawyer…she used to actually respect him…but recently she’s found out that he’s a JERK! An extremely handsome jerk with a law firm that she’d really like to work for. But then there’s Dad and Ricky and so many obligations…
Blake Bridgman earned a reputation as a lawyer to be reckoned with at a very young age. He’s always been outspoken, domineering, and takes whatever he wants and that’s the way he represents his clients. After getting a local rockstar off on a murder charge, Blake has made celebrity status. He’s at the university presenting the bursary, and he’s immediately drawn to Jinny. She’s engaging, smart, and extremely hot and Blake is determined to get her into his bed. After all, who wouldn’t want to couple with a celebrity – right?
