When oil tycoon J.J. Hester makes his ambitions known to build a spur from Corsicana, Texas to Waco, there’s only one problem. A half-dozen settlers and their homesteads are sitting directly in the path where the rails need to run. One of the homesteads belongs to Jubal Stone.
At first, the people of Waco see the prospective spur being a boon for the town and pressure those north of town to sell. But as the old adage goes, ‘everything that glitters is not always gold.’
Hester’s greedy, evil scheme is soon revealed, but not before several settlers’ homes and lives are adversely impacted. Now Jubal Stone will go to work to right the wrong Hester and his men have done.
In “Iron, Sweat, and Blood,” greed will be tamed and injustices confronted. Jubal Stone will make certain of that.
Genre: Western
