When Bruce and Silvia Young arrive by train in Waco, they are greeted with open arms by recently elected Mayor Beecher and many of the other townspeople. Snazzy dressers and possessing all the trappings of a wealthy couple, Wacoans are smitten with the Youngs. But when a slew of gunmen start showing up to challenge Marshal Stone, his deputies began to suspect something is awry.
Adding to their suspicion, Silvia begins to make improper advances toward Jubal, and she doesn’t seem too worried about what others might think. A conspiracy is underway. She and her husband aim to retire or kill the marshal so they will have a free hand with their illegal banking enterprise.
It’s going to get bloody quick. Marshal Stone and his deputy marshals, F.M. Miller and Tanner Burns, will prove their mettle once again. The peace officers of Waco will do whatever necessary to protect their citizens.
