Crooked River Canyon

What set apart the run-of-the-mill town of Prineville in the Crooked River country of Oregon was Major Calvin Tarback and his hidden, but unrelenting, hunger to be the most powerful man in the Northwest. Seizing the opportunity presented by a senseless mob lynching, Tarback began to build a secret vigilante group. Cloaked in respectability, they ruled in terror until a few brave men dared to right the wrong, and give Tarback a taste of his own bad medicine.
