Dealing with amnesia and PTSD I battle to regain my memories.
Returning to my hometown in Macon, Georgia, I find her.
One glimpse of that beautiful face and everything comes flooding back.
All my memories and the love we shared.
Theres one big difference shes very pregnant.

A Marine Returns Home 5 stars
Loved Shane and Emily's story. I found myself falling in love with them and this book will have your heart feeling all sorts of emotions. This book to me is really realistic in some ways and there is nothing SEXIER than a HOT military man. WOWZER look at the cover is he not SEXY or what.
Good story 5 stars
This was an interesting story. Shane met Emily in a bar while he was on a 12 week leave from the service. He knew of her as this was both their home towns, but she was 4 years younger. They were instantly attracted to each other, but took it slow. When they finally slept together, it was magic to them. She was an artist and expressed herself on canvas. When he had to go back to duty, it was difficult as he wanted to come home to her. The rescue mission he was on went wrong and he was lost and lost his memory. He knew there was someone important, but couldn't remember who. He finally came home to his home town and ran into her in her gallery. Everthing came rushing back. He was shocked she was pregnant, but really happy. They were happy they were together again. I loved that as he was getting help with PTSD, he ran into other soldiers that needed help, so he and Emily started a program for them. Painting canvases became part of the therapy and the soldiers started flourishing. As they paint more, the canvas becomes their story, individually and together. This was a touching story that I really enjoyed -hint - keep some kleenexes close
