Bert Webb felt eyes boring into the back of his head as he rode into Wildroot. This was outlaw country and every lurking, furtive figure was a danger, especially since Webb had his eyes open for a killer named Ives. As the trail got clearer the facts got muddier, but confusion could be fatal.
